Stokesia MEL S BLUE
A wealth of luminous flowers on upright stems
This is an upright, regularly rounded selection, well branched from the base. The floral stems are robust and straight and carry numerous wide and brightly-coloured flowerheads.
The elegantly cut ray florets are blue-purple surrounding a white disc. Flowering from the end of June, a profusion of blooms are renewed all summer. They attract butterflies.
'Mels Blue' is recommended for flowerbeds or tubs; it catches the eye from a distance.
