Hibiscus moscheutos PLANET® Griotte 'Tangri'
A great show!
Like all Hibiscus moscheutos, the part which is above ground dies off with the first frost, but new shoots grow from the base in spring (April-May). They reach maximum height in summer when their magnificent flowering starts. From June - July to September, the short lived flowers renew themselves every two to three days.
In the PLANET ® series with its specific qualities, 'Griotte' offers a great show with these large, early, cherry-coloured flowers.
It has crimson purple foliage, even when there are no flowers.
